I would go for the Astana ancient tombs...:d. That's where the people of the Gaochang city are buried. It's well known for its tombs paintings and terracota figurines...it's really cool to see such things:). The place is located 40km away from Turpan city, in the south part of Gaochang city. You'll find a 10 km stretch that covers up to 500 tombs....So..go for it!
